A time capsule of their people

Everyone adds their part of the story

Ask each person for three things. Together, they make a newspaper that captures the family and friends around your baby at the very start of their life.

What we looked like

A photograph of each family member or friend from around the time of the birth. In eighteen years, they can put faces to the stories and see everyone as they were.

What we were up to

How old we were, where we lived, what we did for work and what filled our days. The moves, hobbies, plans and ordinary details that are so easy to forget.

A message for eighteen

A personal message written to them, to read on their eighteenth birthday. A hope, a piece of advice, a funny prediction or simply something we want them to know.

Open on their eighteenth birthday

Imagine showing them
the world they arrived into

Their grandparents eighteen years younger. An auntie in her first flat. A family friend starting a new job. Their parents learning how to be parents.

Alongside each photograph and story is a message written just for them, all those years ago. They get to discover what life was like for their people and what everyone wanted to tell their future self.

How it works

Made around their birth,
saved for eighteen

You do not need to collect everything on the day. Gather the contributions afterwards, with everyone looking back to the time they were born.

  1. Set the date

Add the baby’s name and date of birth. That date appears on the newspaper, with their eighteenth birthday as the opening date.

  2. Invite family and friends

Share your private link. Each person signs in to add a photo, what they were up to and a message for eighteen, using text or a checked voice-note transcript.

  3. Check it and keep it

Review the newspaper, approve it and download the PDF. Keep your digital copies safe, or print one and put it away to open together on their eighteenth birthday.

One newspaper, everyone’s memories

A keepsake for their whole family

Up to 30 family members and friends can add their photographs, life updates and messages. Your personalised newspaper comes as a PDF to download, share with your family and print at home.

Good to know

Before you start their newspaper

A parent or guardian can organise it, or a loved one with their permission.

What date is printed on the newspaper?

The baby’s date of birth. It is a snapshot of the family and friends in their world at that point in time, made for them to open on their eighteenth birthday.

Does everyone need to contribute on the day they’re born?

No. Set it up after the birth and give everyone time to contribute. Ask people to choose a photograph from around the birth and describe their life at that time. The newspaper is still dated on the day the baby was born.

Who can be in it?

Parents, grandparents, aunties, uncles, godparents and family friends. The organiser can invite up to 30 adult contributors. Each person adds their own photo, life update and message through a private link.

What do we receive?

A personalised newspaper PDF to review, download and keep. You can print it yourself and put it away for their eighteenth birthday. Professionally printed copies and gift packaging are not available to order yet.

Will you change our messages?

Written messages stay in your own words. If you use a voice note, you can check and edit the transcript before adding it. The organiser reviews the complete newspaper before approving it.

Who can read the contributions?

Each contributor can see their own entry. The organiser can read submitted entries and download the finished newspaper, then choose who receives a copy. Keep the invitation link within your invited group.

Do you send it to them when they turn eighteen?

You download the newspaper now and keep it safe as a family. We recommend saving more than one digital copy. We do not provide eighteen-year online storage or scheduled delivery.

How much does it cost?

The digital keepsake launch price is £29 as a one-off payment for the complete newspaper, including up to 30 adult contributors. There is no subscription. Our current digital preview is free, with no payment details needed. Paid orders are not open yet. A professionally printed newspaper in a keepsake box is coming soon; pricing will follow once printing, packaging and delivery are confirmed.
