Indicative prices: £79 framed or £39 print only. Final price is not yet confirmed.

For people living apart
“We miss the little updates.”
Choose a family newspaper when cousins, siblings, grandparents or old friends want a shared catch-up. The everyday stories matter as much as weddings and new jobs. Your group supplies the news; the edition brings it together.
Choose a Special Edition request for a story about the recipient: how the couple met, what happened at the proposal or the memories that make someone unmistakably themselves. It is a single display page, not an ongoing family paper.
For a baby time capsule rather than these two formats, visit When You Arrived to review that separate product.
Not every “personalised newspaper” is the same.
Is this an original newspaper from a birth date?
No. The Relative writes from the stories you provide. An archive newspaper is an existing historic edition; neither of these products is an original paper from someone’s date of birth.
Is this a do-it-yourself newspaper template?
No. You provide memories and photographs rather than designing all the pages yourself. A blank template suits someone who wants to do the writing and layout; The Relative’s service includes editorial preparation from supplied material.
Can I make a wedding newspaper for every guest?
Special Editions are individual newspaper-style display prints. They are not a bulk wedding programme or an order of service. Review the wedding edition guide for the intended format.
Can a family newspaper be a gift for grandparents?
Yes, a family edition can be a gift from the group. It still needs contributions, preparation and review. Grandparents can read the online edition or a PDF you print yourself; do not rely on a specific gift date without checking the timetable.
Know what is ready today.
A request is not a confirmed order or a dispatch promise. Check the family plans or Special Editions page before making arrangements for a birthday, wedding or Christmas.
Choose with confidence
A few buying questions, answered.
Do I need a subscription to make a family newspaper?
No. You can pay once for a first digital edition, with no automatic renewal. The optional quarterly plan is £19.99 every three months, and the annual plan is £79.96 for four editions. Only the subscription plans renew automatically until cancelled.
What do I get for the first-edition price?
One private online family newspaper and a downloadable PDF, covering up to 20 adult contributors. You invite your family or friends and collect their updates; the newspaper is prepared and reviewed before release. Professional printing, postal delivery and framed gifts are not included.
Can I try the writing before paying?
Yes. The free story preview lets you record or type one short story and see an example article, without creating an account. It is a writing preview, not a complete newspaper, a customer submission or a print-ready proof.
Which product should I choose for a wedding?
Choose a Special Edition request for a single newspaper-style display print about the couple. Choose a family newspaper when you want stories from several households in a full digital edition. Neither is a bulk wedding programme or an order of service.
Try one of your own stories
Got a little update in mind? Try it.
Record or type a short story in the free preview. No account or payment needed. See the writing style before you decide.
The preview creates one sample article, not a complete newspaper or a print-ready proof. Your full family edition is prepared and reviewed separately from the updates you and your people submit.
